I am a licensed psychologist with a private practice in Bloomington, Indiana. I was educated and lived most of my life in New York City. In addition to counseling, I have had a long time professional interest in developing and researching multimedia curriculums on parenting and on life skills for teens.

In my private practice I work with school-aged children, teens, adults, couples, and families, and with people of all beliefs and backgrounds.

My approach centers on developing a heart-to-heart connection with clients in an honest search for the hidden emotional blocks that prevent us from living a more fulfilling life. Together, we work to uncover and understand these blocks by objectively observing everyday reactions, attitudes, and beliefs in problem areas that affect our relationships and activities.

As we do the work, we learn to see ourselves with new eyes; compassionate eyes that can help us better understand who we are and who we are not. We also discover we have a real and loving self. When we remove and resolve emotional blocks, we free ourselves to choose and to realize our dreams through that real self.
